Someone who isn't content with how hard badminton is, works extremely hard to make it far more difficult!

Come a long way since he started. Has great taste in music too! (you know who I mean Ziggy!)

If he isn't disappearing for 5 or 6 weeks at a time, or playing cricket, he's here fastening his shoe laces at the most inappropriate times!

From the get go Emily has always been far more competitive than she appears, never drop your guard!

It‘s rumored he’s well over a hundred, BUT never seems to look over 30 (well, 31!). A-team player, who is able to play an all-round game & has a steely determination to win. Off-court is really rather pleasant.

Possibly the greatest thing to ever happen to Todmorden Badminton Club ever & modest to boot!

Big guy, still plays better than Connor & he's got some eyesight issues!

A new addition who without fail, manages to lose with "The Great Dictator" if he's having a good night! Don't go out on the water with her!

If his ability matched his swagger, he'd be off the charts skill wise! Always up for a game and has come on so much.

Previous Dictator & famous for the cross court backhand that you could get an easy point from!

Always relaxed & easy to play with, Sandra's favorite mixed partner.

Great player till he meets the great dictator & Matt Shackleton in competition then he just falls apart!

One more game, his enthusiasm was only matched by the high pitched squeal when a shot when wrong (more often than he wanted!)!.

Often used way more complex shots than needed, with the result of a loss of a point but great when they worked!

Looked so casual, but only because he was always in the right position & had the perfect shot.

John was good at throwing his racket, but not so good at catching it hence the large turnover in rackets!

Looked like he worked one day a year & butter wouldn't melt, but he was a competitor, with a very memorable charge with roar to the net!

Came & showed us how badminton should be played, great temperament, but even he was rattled by The Great Dictators banter!

Was able to tie himself in knots to get a shot, really nice guy, shame he had to leave.

The whoosh coming from the shot that, if it had actually hit the shuttle , would have been brilliant, his infrequency of play got the better of him.

So fast, he hit the shot before the shuttle arrived! Covered the court in less than a second without any real need to!

The irony is just as he got good he left! Big Ron, always providing entertainment & the original Mr Inconsistent (Position now filled by Simon Cave), inspired one shot, just tired the next!
