Unfortunately, Tod started the season in the opposite fashion to what they wanted with a 6-12 opening loss. A bad start with Wahad turning up late didn’t help, and with the team being a new mix it seems to have taken them a while to get into the match, early games being lost 6 points minimum, suggests player practice time for the those groupings, Dan & Wahad having a particularly bad one losing 21-11. Our wins didn’t look convincing either with most of them being 21-15 or so. Still, this is early days & a lot to be learned, players needing to find out how to work better together & it was always going to be a very competitive league this year with some strong teams out there. We just need to reverse the scoreline & make inroads into working together as a team to win all games no matter what the pairing, and get Wahad a watch!
